The Rosemont Hotel and Residences, designed by ZAS Architects in association with K&P, is a testament to the power of innovative design and technology. The project, inspired by the elements of nature, features two towers - one representing a shell and pearl, and the other conceptualized as a flowing river. The façade of the buildings is adorned with moving lights, creating a mesmerizing pattern inspired by atomic, orbital rings.
What sets the Rosemont Hotel and Residences apart is the client's vision for a world-class, ultra-luxury hotel destination tailored specifically for family-focused leisure and entertainment. The design intertwines advanced design, digital technology, and nature, resulting in a visionary destination with forward-thinking amenities and engaging spaces designed to offer unique entertainment experiences.
The realization of this design involved advanced 3D robotics and aerodynamics. Leading-edge audiovisual, robotics, and 3D video mapping technology transform public spaces, creating an experiential environment for guests and visitors. A wind study was performed to create accurate aerodynamics for each tower, impacting the structural design. The project also includes 26 state-of-the-art elevators, including special shuttle elevators dedicated for the Sky Lobby and other Specialty Restaurants at the high floors.
The Rosemont Hotel and Residences boasts of 2 million sq. ft. of space, including a 448-key, 53-storey hotel tower and a 280-key, 53-storey fully-serviced apartment tower. The facilities include a Sky Lobby, Sky Roof, Health club, Dining Area, VIP Lounge, Business Centre, Exclusive Residences, Entertainment Area, and Retail.
The design team, led by ZAS Architects Inc. Dubai and Architect of Record K&P GmbH Dubai Branch, overcame numerous challenges to realize this project. The design was created in accordance with the Green Building Requirements of Dubai Municipality, integrating sustainability approaches such as re-using condensate water for irrigation, energy recovery from exhaust air, and demand-controlled ventilation for densely occupied areas.
The Rosemont Hotel and Residences, operated by Curio Collection by Hilton, is set to become a landmark in Dubai. The project, located along the prestigious Sheikh Zayed Road, is expected to be completed by the end of 2018. This design has been recognized with the Golden A' Architecture, Building and Structure Design Award in 2017, reflecting the designer's prodigy and wisdom, and significantly impacting the world with its desirable characteristics.
